Teaching strategies and study method: resarch data for students with learning disabilities
Abstract
The paper illustrates an exploratory-theoretical research about how primary and lower secondary schools promote the acquisition of the study method in classes attended by students with learning disabilities (LD). The study method is the first compensatory measure for student with LD. The research explored the conditions of learning arranged by teachers, such us teaching
strategies, compensatory tools and dispensative measures used within the individual method of study. Both in primary and secondary school, in a few classes the acquisition of the study method is promoted, and there is not a particular attention on the development of competences regarding study method by students with LD.
