English teaching in primary schools: instruments for curriculum design
Abstract
This paper focuses on the development of design competences for EFL teachers in primary school. It addresses some epistemological and methodological aspects of
curriculum design competence with particular reference to how this is dealt with in
primary schools. A competence design model based on the “competence unit” called the EFL CUDMod., is proposed. This model has been experimented in a variety of research projects conducted in primary schools.
