Abstract

This article aims to retrace the history and functioning of the Siped Pedagogy of Childhood group in the decade
2014-2024, starting from the experience of its two leaders who present here a critical review of this body. In
particular, the contribution reconstructs the theoretical and epistemological assumptions that formed the basis of the group's heuristics, highlighting the development phases, operational methodologies, cultural backgrounds and conceptual passages that marked its studies and research. The essay reconstructs the set of steps that pivoted the group's political action at a particularly significant historical moment for the development of the 0-6 Integrated System in Italy by representing a hinge between theoretical reflection, practices and the renewal of the governance of childhood.
