The paper explores a participatory evaluation approach tested during the 2023 Summer school of the ITS hospitality
and extended tourism industry Academy of Pulia. The experience is part of a research‐training path whose main objective
was to enhance and innovate teaching methodologies through targeted tools, designed to support backward curriculum
design, as well as the monitoring and evaluation of competence‐based learning pathways. These pathways integrate
both technical‐professional skills and soft skills]. The proposed model reimagines the evaluation of teaching in a more
dynamic and interactive perspective, emphatizing experiential learning and fostering greater self‐awareness among students,
regarding their own professional and educational growth path.
