Abstract

This paper aims to provide a reflection on the strategic role of Teaching and Learning Centers in the national
context and, in particular, of the professionals working within them. Particular attention will be paid to the importance of the pedagogical-didactic competencies of these professionals, which are fundamental in supporting
the ongoing development of academics and thus in supporting a renewed quality of teaching in the university
context.
