Become and be social educators in socio-educational services of contemporaneity
Abstract
This essay aims at analyzing some of the multiple aspects that make the social educator (with a pedagogical profile) one of the most controversial, multifarious and
unstable professional figures appeared in the educational landscape, broadly in the
field of professions which intentionally aim at increasing the well-being, or at least
reducing the malaise, of people as individual and collective. The focus is on the effects of some changes of contemporaneity on the educational training and processes leading to acquire, maintain and develop skills and knowledge.
