Abstract

Covid-19 emergency has suddenly upset our life, strongly changing our daily life. Social distance, closure to the outside world, have become the only ways to stem the invisible enemy. What happens in a “world” where the deprivation of freedom is already an obstacle with which you live? How to favour the right distance in an ambience, such as prisons, where presences of ten, exceeds regulatory capacity? The aim of this work is to deepen the critical issues of the pandemic in the field of detention and the way to deal with it, in particular, by seeing the execution at home, of penalty, a measure that is reinvented in this delicate moment.
