Abstract

The paper focuses on the web as tool that might facilitate youth participation within local policies. The paper discusses definitions of “participation” and “youth” and it identifies some of the key web instruments that have a potential in relation to facilitate the access to
local planning. The last part of the paper is dedicated to a case study highlighting the important facilitating role of new technologies in relation to youth participation.
