The paper proposes some insights on the topic of orientation -inbound, in progress, outbound- as an inclusive educational tool, aimed at strengthening collaboration and dialogue between the school and university context. In the transition of young people to adulthood, the school and university are interested in involving them in meaningful educational practices, inspired by recent laws on orientation, directed at the recognition and development of students’ self-determination skills. With a view to the realization of the life project of all young people, with and without special needs, effective orientation makes it possible to increase the educational success of those enrolled, countering the risk of the alarming phenomenon of drop-out. In this perspective, a project idea is proposed and described, currently in the start-up phase, related to orientation paths at the University of Tuscia, aimed at complementing the effective training actions, already tested and promoted in previous academic years.
