Comparative education in the global age: Italian tradition and future perspectives
Abstract
After the end of the second world war, Italy, along with the whole Europe, witnessed an increase of comparative studies in education whose protagonists are scholars like Luigi Volpicelli and Mauro Laeng, also supported by publishers like Armando Armando. The present essay, falling within our national tradition, traces some perspectives which could outline future researches in the current age of globalization.
