Notes about lifelong learning in Social Education in Spain

This article is part of a current research programme concerning the training of educators and social educators in Spain. This is a controversial space where territories and training agencies meet with diverse routes, interests and objectives. With the field of Social Education university studies having provided training in Spain for more than 25 years, it may be a good time to address the implications of the intersection between universities, the profession and social policies in a broad sense. The text, then, has the purpose of setting out our concerns as university trainers of Social Education professionals, guiding and opening some interactions, nuances and controversies.
