Fröbel’s concept of education: God, man’s free will and unity in nature
Abstract
This contribution aims to analyse the writings of Fröbel in the Keilhau years, in particular Die Menschenerziehung and Grundzüge der Menschenerziehung, to consider their theoretical approach and explain their framework and hermeneutical references. God, nature and man will be the terms of reference that will be examined to evaluate the coherence of the ontological and theological fröbelian structure and to highlight assonances and references to Schelling’s thought.
