This article aims to provide some reflections on the phenomenon of psychogenic amnesia and its likely symptomatic-semiotic value in the technical evaluation of some types of crime. The Authors, in fact, taking a cue from an expert case that came to their observation, an apparently un-motivated theft by a person with a clean record, intend to examine the meaning and value of this disorder also in the criminal, clinical and psychological-psychiatric forensic field.
