Abstract
In this paper, starting form some works published about ten years ago, I identify and try to answer some knotty questions highlighted by the most recent literature on the issue of Restorative Justice and Victim-Offender Mediation (with regard to minors and adults). The main aspects under investigation concern the meaning and potential role of mediation in a world obsessed by the securitarian ‘question’, the complex relationship between justice and mediation, and the mediator’s role.
