Abstract

A criminologist, if aware that the novelty of criminology is also to raise questions that other disciplines and professions are not wondering, could follow the footsteps of smuggler Vladek, narrator and main character of the Sergiusz Piasecki’s novel The Lover of the Great Bear. Consequently, would face a first question: the constellations exist? To answer it would be needed to activate the fact-finding process of imagination, driven by working hypothesis that allow to take into account problems relating to the criminal matter as well as to the criminal law.
