La “Carta della Terra”: implicazioni etiche e prospettive pedagogiche

Abstract

Social, economic and environmental changes taking place charge to pedagogy to have sustainability point of view and to become sustainable itself. However, there is still a problem to identify
an univocal definition of sustainability and it originates the consequence that educational world doesn’t build appropriate and effective educational paths.
The ‘Earth Charter’, analyzed in this study, puts in evidence what is sustainability and which are the elements that characterize it. It also underlines elements of a new pedagogical reflection and action, if we want to build paths that are able to future.
