Contemporary talk about the evolution of family relations revolves around the relationship between the sense of family and policy initiatives in its favor. One struggles to understand the urgency of a policy for and of the family that exalts the family group as a basic social group. This complex framework should be asked to make well explicit the function of educational mediation between the person and society and to take an active part in the design/management of social interventions fit for purpose, trying to restore effective autonomy to the family.
This paper seeks to reflect on the opportunity for families to take an active part in the construction of social and cultural policies dedicated to them, moving from the intrinsic analysis of a context that certainly gives rise to informal education, but at the same time with a strong intentional imprint.
