Intercultural education in preschool: how to support it?

This paper offers some results of a doctoral research dedicated to identifying effective strategies to support the systematic implementation of interculture in preschools. The analysis is focused on the intercultural perspective in organizational and educational choices made by Municipal Schools of Roma Capitale. The research has a qualitative approach and is based on dialogue with teachers and school coordinators through semi-structured interviews; in a preparatory phase data were collected through a survey on practices and analysis of documents. The study led to highlighting key nodes that can facilitate the day-to-day implementation of intercultural education: coordinated investments on multiple levels (resources, training, projects and initiatives).
