Distance education. An experience that promotes the formative change of educators and teachers in contexts regarding children up to six years

Starting from an analysis of the childhood condition in the pandemic period, in reference to the current pedagogical debate and to the most recent legal and regulatory framework, this paper offers a reflection about the necessary, inevitable change that involved educators and teachers of the municipal educational contexts for children within an age from zero to six years of Livorno during the lockdown period. To promote resilience processes supporting professional development, a specific training course has been created. The qualitative analysis of the self-reports collected – about the personal and professional experiences of educators and teachers – allowed to identify and give back five significant areas of reflection for re-thinking education during and after the Coronavirus pandemic.
