The impact of after- school activities on students with learning disabilities and their parents’ perceptions
Abstract
The present exploratory research, aims to investigate attitudes and strategies of students with specific learning difficulties in study activities. Specifically, nine secondary school students attended a laboratory in order to acquire or strengthen their own method of study. The data were recorded through questionnaire and the research results show an improvement in some of the investigated areas. The research, through semi-structured interviews, highlights the students
perceptions with specific learning difficulties, and their parents, about the relapses of the laboratory. Also in this case, the results are positive.
