The need for relationship in the digital era
Abstract
The aim of this article is to try to understand if and how the need for relationship has been changing in the digital era. In this article have been examined the reasons of two opposite theories.
On the one hand, there is the theory of the supporters of the face-to-face relationship who report that it’s necessary to build spaces of concreteness, physical contact and conversation.
On the other hand, there is the theory of the supporters of the erasable Internet, who consider relationship as ephemeral reality and define online/offline binary thinking as outdated. Therefore it’s necessary a new educative point of view which takes into account the positive contribution and the many implications of each of these two approaches, which are apparently opposed.
