Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format (see e download Template).
  • Where available, URLs have been provided for the references.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are embedded in the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which are found in About the Journal.
Submissions that do NOT adhere these requirements will be sent back to the authors for the necessary modifications, before proceeding with the review process.
  • The abstract (in Italian and English) was placed after the title and before the text and has between 400 and 900 characters.
  • The text is provided without reference to the author/author of the contribution, listing Author1, 2...
  • After the abstract, the five keywords in Italian and English are inserted.
  • The title of the contribution is in Italian (or language of writing) and English.
  • The text respects the number of characters (including bibliographical note) for the specific section it is proposed. Specifically, for the main sections:
    - FOCUS (35-45 thousand characters)
    - STUDIES and RESEARCH (35-45 thousand characters)
    - GIOVANI STUDIOSI (30-40 thousand characters)
  • The anonymous text is accompanied in a separate document by the authors' names, affiliations and a brief biographical note.
