Abstract
In the contemporary Italian society educational jobs are experiencing a radical renewing and requalification. Hence educational spaces are reconsidered in a perspective that reflects the many educational needs of the individual. The pedagogical, teaching, methodological and historical approach confirms the symbolic and material influence that spaces and places of education have and had on educational practices. Therefore, in the perspective of a complete educational system, pedagogical scientific research needs to consider the context, also the material one, in order to evaluate the many and often contradictory possibilities of relationship between pedagogical theory and praxis.
