Oltre lo scandalo. I ragazzi hanno bisogno dell’ascolto degli adulti

Abstract

The transition from nature to culture finds its spark here (Lévi-Strauss, 1947, p. 67): the renunciation of jouissance
corresponds to the fulfilment of desire. The rule of rules, in fact, does not merely prohibit, it circulates. It
is positive. Socially absurd, it nevertheless remains a problem: a path toward disorder, a sign of counter-order,
an indication of confusion between generations.
In response to this taboo, the present contribution emphasizes adults’ listening, rather than a subject or the
knowledge of some expert. Accompanying, respecting, and distinguishing fantasies from shared reality is more
demanding than scientific proof. One can never say everything there is to say about sex. Il passaggio natura/cultura ha qui la sua scintilla (Lévi-Strauss, 1947, p. 67): alla rinuncia al godimento corrisponde la realizzazione del desiderio. La regola delle regole non proibisce soltanto, fa circolare. È positiva. Socialmente assurda, resta tuttavia un problema: strada verso il disordine, segno di contro-ordine, indice di confusione tra le generazioni. Al tabù il presente contributo fa corrispondere l’ascolto degli adulti, non una materia o il sapere di qualche esperto.
Accompagnare, rispettare e distinguere le fantasie dalla realtà condivisa, è più impegnativo che dimostrare scientificamente. Non si dirà mai tutto in fatto di sesso.
