Pedagogical supervision is a meta-reflective tool that activates analytical processes on educational practices by focusing on intentionality and planning. It is an indispensable supportive resourcein educational work for teams, for the maintenance of services and the continuous re-planning of interventions. It is a tool that stimulates critical thinking on educator’s identity, role and professionalism,
enabling him/her to conceptualize knowledge acquired on the field and to interconnect theories and strategies of intervention.
