Abstract

Offering families the opportunity to live ECEC creates effective engagement to support the construction and fostering of parental empowerment. ECEC can now become an educational place for everybody, by transforming into contexts that offer reflection, growth and development. Parenthood is so complex that requires services to be repositioned, as they get closer to families, to foster an intersubjectivity-based harmonious growth. This paper aims to present a reflection of the educators who embraced new professional postures and tells ECEC-family relationship strategies that, through reflective thinking, have led the educators to question their sense of welcome and participation, highlighting the need to change practices. A change of posture has allowed educators to feel they are not holders of certain educational knowledge, but professionists constantly in research.
