Abstract
This article explains what inner life is; a topic which is often present in texts, without being chosen as object of principal inquiry. In the first part the author introduces the reader to the experience of inner being and what must be accepted to get there. The central part introduces the cognitive work which characterizes the inner being: to understand the desire for knowledge of our own original identity, given through the meaning of our own experience.In the final part the author introduces the relation between inner life and life style, and clarifies some pedagogical consequences which can be brought out from the interior experience.
