Training early childhood professionals (0-6) in an intercultural perspective: from European projects to an interuniversity double-degree

Abstract

The paper outlines the development of an intercultural training programme between the University of Florence and ELTE University of Budapest, aimed at future early childhood professionals (0-6). Starting from the theoretical-conceptual and methodological-operational framework as the baseline of the training proposal at issue, the paper content delves into the experiences of European projects, that had brought about sowing the idea of future interuniversity cooperation, so as to finally arrive at the concretisation of the said double-degree training programme which will allow the two Universities to join forces and intercultural knowledge, and create new professional synergies.
