La solidaridad como pedagogía: la propuesta del “aprendizaje-servicio”
Abstract
The growth of a fraternal and cooperative culture can be promoted through the development of service-learning methodology and projects in schools, higher educational institutions, universitiesand youth organizations.
Service learning appears to be an approach to experiential learning, an expression of values and service to others, which determines the purpose, nature and process of social and educational exchange between learners (students) and the people they serve, and between experiential education programs and the community organizations with which they work.
It is necessary to provide training to school principals, teachers and community leaders for the development of community educational projects and pro-social attitudes.
