Abstract

The present paper displays the theoretical assumptions, the methodological procedures and the outcomes of a project promoted and funded by the Ministry of Education, within the “Multicultural
and Multilingual Schools” program. This project, innovating the traditional practices of education, is included among the Italian school best practices, as emblematic of new perspectives and learning paths oriented to the real action within contexts experiencing discrimation, prejudice and the denial of the most basic human rights. Such paths, by using the communicative tools and spaces didactic is offered through IT networks and fostering collaboration and flexibility beyond space-time limits, represent an outstanding attempt for a meaningful learning, as a share of experiences, problems and interests.
