Abstract

There are many good reasons not to separate human sciences from natural sciences.
Even the development of Physics during the 20th century gives evidence in favour of the so called “new alliance”. Furthemore, the recent developments of the epistemological debate, which has been marked by a certain “delegitimation” of the “classical” rationality, considered somewhat “rigid”, leads us to rethink a form of separation which justifies itself on the ground of the privileges acknowledged to the empirical and “demonstrating” branches of learning which are instead denied to “argumentative” and “interpretative” ones.
