Research and data analysis in Comparative Education

The analysis of research data is one of the most debated issues in Comparative Education. The essay distinguishes the qualitative or “idiographic” modality and the quantitative or “no-mothetic” modality, exploring the possibilities of integration in order to considerate that the educational reality is a highly complex system that, therefore, can be analyzed and described according to a deductive and narrative logic.
