The bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in Spain and the development of professional skills

Abstract

With the European convergence to the European Higher Education Area and the emergence with it of degrees in Childhood Education, teacher training has undergone some changes that,
in our opinion, favor the practical training in competences of future teachers.
We discuss in this work some actions that are being carried out in Spain, that seek to favor the acquisition of the professional skills of the title. More specifically, the Child Education Workshop of the University of Cadiz is described.
