This paper is about the issue of guidance of younger generations, starting from the assumption that in the construction of the life project, the value dimension must be included as an element that indicates the direction to make choices that are functional to the personal path and that are in full consonance with environmental sustainability and the needs of the world context. The cultural and political demands of Agenda 2030, taken up by European documents and the PNRR, express the need for intervention also in the training and guidance of younger generations, perhaps the last to guarantee the Planet survival. The development of competences related to environmental sustainability is closely linked to curricular design and a holistic approach to giudance according to constructionist perspectives and complexity theories that take the values, and the social-environmental interaction, as constitutive.
