Abstract

This paper explores the role of artificial intelligence, particularly conversational chatbots, as tools for personalized learning and the promotion of inclusive education within the classroom microcontext. It presents the IRCIT-Talent model, a chatbot developed on pedagogical foundations and designed to adapt to the functional profiles of students with disabilities through the use of ICF codes. The article outlines the system architecture, its operational logic, and the adopted ecosystemic approach. Through a Scoping Review and field experimentation, six dimensions of inclusion have been identified, each observable and measurable through specific quantitative and qualitative indicators. The aim is to assess the chatbot’s effectiveness in supporting students, teachers, and class groups, contributing to the development of an adaptive, personalized, and inclusive educational ecosystem.
