Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is emerging as a key driver in the transformation of hospital education and pediatric healthcare. This study explores AI’s role in ensuring hospitalized children’s right to education and psychosocial well-being, focusing on personalized learning, emotional support, and healthcare applications. Through a literature review and the analysis of national and international case studies, the paper discusses opportunities, challenges, and ethical implications. A dedicated section will present a systematic literature review conducted following PRISMA guidelines, providing a methodologically rigorous overview of the current scientific evidence. Finally, guidelines are proposed for the sustainable and inclusive integration of AI technologies in hospital-based education and healthcare settings.
