Abstract

Sport practice is able to generate skills at a motor, cognitive and socio-relational level. Climbing technique will be placed at the center of the analysis, as it is particularly functional for working on the following areas, either in typical or in atypical development: gross- and fine motor function, balance and coordination, neuro-plasticity, sense of self-efficacy and self-esteem, fear of heights, attentional and perceptive processes, corporeality and proprioception of one’s own/others’ movement in a certain space, social-relational and stress management skills. The data from the experimental research, conducted during my master degree (2022), will support the thesis.
