Abstract

This report concerns the educational practice that has been realized by the Opera Immacolata Concezione in the area of “long life as a resource” in the Percorsi Terza Età Protagonista and in the Associazione Agorà which reflects a new way of thinking, that considers the old age person as a carrier of values and experience. The new vision of the elderly’s rule in the society requires that his life must be considered as the center of a building up and re-construction process that can be an investment for his future, and so give quality and sense to his life. The experience presented is supported by an investigation by “Fondazione Censis” (Censis Foundation).
