Abstract

The taking charge of families with disabled child is a delicate and constant process that needs from the beginning to made in an adequate way, using appropriate educational actions. Promoting an adequate support to the families who are in touch the vulnerability (related a newborn baby’s deficit) means transmitting good practices in order to accompany the whole family during the life path, establishing a global life path.
Starting from the “experience to be a father of a disabled child” the paper will highlight some educational dimensions in terms of the importance of supporting father through educational interventions useful to provide a primary prevention that reinforce some families’ protective factors, generating resilience and well-being.
