Evidence Based interventions for the decrease of the stereotypies in the Autism Spectrum Disorders
Abstract
Verbal and motor stereotypies are frequently associated with the Autism Spectrum Disorders, and may represent an obstacle for student inclusion. This paper presents the results of the most significant international systematic reviews, which show that the techniques derived from the perspective of the Applied Behavior Analysis are those most effective for the reduction of the
stereotypies.
