Abstract

Eco d’una notte mitica focuses on literary resonances in the intertextual relationship between Virgil and Manzoni and, as a prose work on par with Il Fanciullino, his lectures on Leopardi and L’èra nuova, offers keen insight into Pascoli’s poetics. The text of the essay according to its prints is presented here, followed by some reading notes that show its links to Pascoli’s poetry.
