Abstract

The pervasiveness of artificial intelligence (AI) has generated a significant metamorphosis in social and professional contexts. In line with the ninth goal of Agenda 2030 (businesses, innovation and infrastructure), the role of work pedagogy is proving to be fundamental. The work-oriented pedagogical model promotes empowerment through educational and training programmes based on the holistic development and lifelong learning of the working individual. This contribution aims to reflect on the most relevant training methodologies and educational approaches, with the intention of countering the obstacles of the algorithmic era and promoting personal and social growth mindset pathways with a view to the future.
