Abstract

The rapid transformation of society and work, accelerated by the rise of artificial intelligence, calls for rethinking education and skills beyond a merely adaptive logic to the labor market. While international policies and programs aim to reduce skills mismatch and promote employability (UNESCO, 2017; OECD, 2017; Boffo, 2020), there is a growing need for educational pathways that foster agency, critical thinking, and the capacity to collaborate with technology (Nussbaum, 2011; Sennett, 2008). This contribution draws on national and international recommendations to outline a pedagogy of work oriented toward an equitable and sustainable future.
