Abstract

The information society modified communication from a one-to-many model to a many-to-many model, making every person a protagonist in knowledge production. The spread of digital technologies has led to significant changes in educational strategies and teacher train-ing, promoting the concept of digital competence as an integral part of education. But what does it mean to educate for digital competence? In the contemporary context, critical think-ing, problem-solving, and computational thinking out stand as crucial skills to take on the challenges of the digital era.
