Nowadays it is important to understand the complexity of the phenomenon of gender violence, but at the same time it is essential
to focus on the role of educational professionals involved in the support and rehabilitation of women victims of violence. These
professionals, including social workers, educators, psychologists, etc., operate in complex contexts, where gender violence is intertwined
with socio-cultural and psychological issues and play a crucial role in providing emotional, legal and practical support
(Creazzo, 2008). The analysis highlights the importance of a multidisciplinary approach, which combines pedagogical, psychological
and social skills to provide integrated support, and considers women’s individual experiences and the power dynamics
that characterize gender violence (Le Mura, 2001). Through targeted interventions and empowerment strategies, these professional
figures help women rebuild their lives, promoting autonomy and resilience. Finally, we underline the need for continuous training
to address the specific challenges of this field, including trauma management and raising awareness of gender issues by promoting
cultural change (Gamberi, Maio, Selmi, 2010).
