Abstract

In the students' imagination and in everyday language, the concept of error overlaps with that of mistake and is a source of discomfort and frustration. The sense of fallibility and incapacity that error engenders in a competitive society like the present is more entrenched than in the past. The progress of generative AI in education and training, referred to as the Sabrewing Programme, where the human master is replaced by the artificial one, raises concerns. To be analyzed is the relationship/ comparison between the Master AI, not subject to error because built not to commit, the student and the Master IU where the error is inherent to human nature.

The contribution reflects on the scenarios that the generative AI prefigures if with the setting in chair of the artificial master it was intended to deliver the human.
