Abstract

An educating community consists of entities (e.g. school, families, third sector organizations) that share certain goals, such as those related to the educational-school success of children. Schools and families are facing moments of crisis and change, increasingly experiencing mutual isolation, even in relation to the emerging expectations of society. Italian and European regulations support integrated governance systems, joint strategies and actions to break the so-called ‘circle of social disadvantage’ and ensure the success of children. The aim of this article is to present some experiences of involvement and empowerment of the educating community, starting from the partnership between schools, families, and services within the implementation of the national Programme P.I.P.P.I.
