Abstract

This paper will present some reflective and questioning issues on some educational challenges of the contemporary age, which seem to involve new generations in a significant way. Starting from a research in progress at the University of Palermo on youth experiences during the pandemic time, an attempt will be made to reflect on some aspects of the processes of identity construction, in the pedagogical awareness that one can say and become a person only in the positive interdependence between autonomy and relationship, thus also between the three temporal dimensions of past, present and future. The categories of time and autonomy will be questioned in this regard above all, in order to glimpse unprecedented modifications and correlations, thus discerning further directions of meaning for contemporary education.
