Abstract

The extraordinary moment we are experiencing from the point of view of technological progress translates, for example, into the disruptive impact that digital technology has on society, on relations between people, on institutions, on schools, on the economy, but also on democracy, to the point of disrupting the relationship that man has, for example, with the media and with the processes of disseminating information. In order to ensure that this revolution does not turn into an irreversible relationship of domination of technology over man, a new way of thinking about the present, of understanding it, of interpreting its demands, is needed, which recognises the importance of knowledge and education of non-cognitive skills, as tools to enable man to develop new educational models capable of redefining the relationship between man, technology and democracy, towards an idea of promoting man through the educational use of technology, which only in this way, can promote new formulas of democracy.
