Abstract

The paper explores the role of Chat GPT as an inclusive ‘companion’ in school instruction. Through the analysis of its potential, it shows how it can revolutionise education, making it more accessible, personalised and engaging for all students. The study, conducted between September 2022 and June 2023, starts from an analysis of data on school inclusion of pupils with disabilities in Italy (a.y. 2022-2023), and draws how accessible educational resources, customised to the student’s special needs, looking at ethical and value considerations.
